An "F/8 and be there" day

Photo quote for today:

"F/8 and be there."-Anonymous

Though there is some debate as to who may have coined this quote, it appears that the name most often associated with it was a photojournalist by the name of Weegee (Arthur Fellig, June 12, 1899 – December 26, 1968). Whether it was Weegee or some other forever to be anonymous person my take on the quote has always been very straightforward. Get out there be prepared, and when opportunity strikes trigger the shutter, it's that simple.

A few day ago I had one of those "F/8 and be there"events.

What I like about these panoramics, they're so wide it's like you're standing at the beach looking at the scene yourself and I like the cloud over the blue hut in the second one.

I think your blog should be chosen as one of bloggers best photo blogs. I am just learning about F8, as it is the sweet spot for my camera and lens I was told. I am having problems with depth of field and new Canon7D,I used to shoot auto depth, which is probably very bad. I wish you had a hundred comments here as your work is so great.
